Can Magic Bands be removed at night before going to sleep? I'm assuming they can, but just want to make sure. Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Michelle ~

I love my MagicBands and constantly sleep in them day and night even when I am not at Disney World. I feel like they give me Disney super powers! Okay, so I may or may not constantly wear them, but I do love them.

You are welcome to take your MagicBand off anytime that you would like to during your trip. I always put mine on top of my phone at night and put it back on first thing in the morning when the alarm goes off on my phone. That way I won't walk out of the room without it. I don't want to get locked out of the room or get all the way to a theme park and find I have left it behind. It is awesome to be able to link so many things to your MagicBand and have less to keep up with in the parks.

Another cool thing about MagicBands is that they are waterproof so you can wear them while you are swimming at your resort or one of the fabulous water parks. I really like that so if I step away from the pool for a snack, I don't have to go find my purse to pay for anything. Please note that charging privileges are only for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel during their stay.

Some Guests do not like to wear anything on their wrists so they may hook their MagicBands on their purses or elect to use a card instead.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
