Hi Barbara, thanks for connecting with planDisney!
You have two important tools for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation: valid admission and a method of entry (
MagicBand). Both items need to be linked to your My Disney Experience account before use. The first step is to
create or sign in to your My Disney Experience account. Next,
link your tickets by clicking "Select" under the Tickets icon. You'll then need to enter the ticket ID number or confirmation number that was provided to you through AAA. Similarly, each MagicBand can be
linked by clicking "Select" under the MagicBand icon and entering the Band ID number found on the back. As part of the linking process, you will be asked to link each ticket and MagicBand to an individual on your
Family and Friends list. Unused tickets can be reassigned but MagicBands cannot, so make sure to complete this step carefully.
Once your tickets and MagicBands are linked to individuals in My Disney Experience, they are automagically connected. In fact, the presence of a linked MagicBand means you don't technically need to pick up your admission cards at will call as only one
method of park entry is required. If you do decide to pick up admission cards, you can do so at one of the will call windows located outside of the
four theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. The admission cards currently feature
Fab 50 characters statues and make great souvenEARS.
The last thing you'll need to enter the theme parks is a
park pass reservation for each park day. Park pass reservations can be made online as soon as your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account. The sooner the better, as the
theme park availability calendar shows certain spring dates are already starting to fill up. Park pass reservations will also automagically connect to your linked MagicBands.
I hope this information helps you connect the magical dots for your upcoming vacation, Barbara. As you continue to plan Disney, be sure to planDisney.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
