We have magic bands from a previous trip (about two years ago) do we need to reactivate them for a one day visit...if we do...where do we go on the site to do that?

Hi Nancy and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

I love to collect MagicBands from my previous visits to the Walt Disney World Resort. They are so colorful and stylish with a touch of magic. Once a MagicBand is linked to your My Disney Experience account, they remain active until you deactivate them or the battery expires.

To make sure your MagicBands are still active, sign in to your My Disney Experience account and click on the “MagicBands and Cards” tab. You will see a list of your “active” and “inactive” MagicBands. If the bands that you would like to use are active, you are all set. You can update the status of an inactive MagicBand to active by clicking on it. If you plan to purchase a Memory Maker for your visit, I would suggest asking for a PhotoPass card as a backup to uploading your photos and videos to your account. Just in case the battery is not strong enough to pick up your onboard attraction photos or videos, you can scan your card at the Memory Maker touchpoint when you review your ride photos.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
