Hi Lauren,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your holiday is coming up so soon, can you feel the magic?
My first suggestion for your
My Disney Experience mobile app would be to sign out of the app, make sure the app is up to date in your app store, then sign back in. Once that takes place, select the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner and scroll down to “MagicBands and More”. Here you should see of list of the guests in your party and for each individual you should be able to select “View MagicBand or Card”. Try it for your name, do you see a listing of past MagicBands or cards?
If you’re still not seeing the information, no worries! Next, you should try re-adding your MagicBands. Just select your name (or the name of the guest you’re entering the MagicBand for) and under the “MagicBand” tab, select “Link”. On the next page, you’ll tab over to “Type ID” and in that top section, you can add the ID on the back/inside portion of your MagicBand! You’ll want to repeat this step for everyone in your party so their MagicBands are linked as well.
Now, if the above doesn’t work, you can always get help at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or at
Guest Relations. There, they will be able to scan each MagicBand and link it to your account. On one of my last stays, I had the front desk re-link an old MagicBand, it’s a super quick process. Just remember to do this as soon as you arrive. If you arrive late in the evening, and don’t want to go to the front desk, you can use the mobile key in the app to enter your room (with
mobile check-in), then get the Bands linked in the morning!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you make the final preparation for your holiday. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
