We have Magic Bands from a previous trip to Disney w 2 days of tickets remaining on them. They were booked by my Mother-In-Law on her acct. We are returning to Disney without her this year. Is it possible to use our existing bands on the new reservations?

    Hi Jennifer!

Yes, you can use your MagicBands from a previous Walt Disney World vacation for your next Walt Disney World vacation as long as they are active in your My Disney Experience. The battery inside the MagicBand is supposed to last for up to two years so you can use your MagicBand for more than one Walt Disney World vacation. You can have more than one MagicBand active on your My Disney Experience account (I currently have ten MagicBands active on My Disney Experience account and my Annual Pass is linked to each one of them so that I can use any of my MagicBands to enter a park in Walt Disney World or open the door to my Walt Disney World Resort room).  You can log on to My Disney Experience and check your MagicBands to make sure that they are active and have the Magic Your Way Tickets linked to them.  Keep in mind that this may change in the future as Disney further refines My Magic+.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
