Hi Michelle!
Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Oh how excited your family must be to make a return visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Is your daughter looking forward to experiencing new
attractions now that she's older and taller?
Every time a
MagicBand is assigned to someone, that band remains assigned to that person forever. Any new tickets that are linked in your My Disney Experience Account trickle down to each MagicBand you've ever owned that are still 'active'. This makes it easy to change bands based on your outfit. To double check that your daughters band is still connected to her profile in your My Disney Experience Account, log in and head to the '
MagicBands and Cards' section. Here you should see everyone in your party, and any MagicBands that have been previously assigned to each person. If you don't see her, or anyone else's band, you can
manually link it to their profile.
The lifespan on the magic inside MagicBands is averaged at two years. Guests have reported their bands working beyond that timeframe, but do be aware that you could run into a dead battery. The Active/Inactive status next to each band in your My Disney Experience Account is so lost bands can be deactivated by either yourself or Guest Relations. We lost a band on our last trip and deactivated it as soon as we could, however it went on quite the adventure based on the photos that turned up in our
Memory Maker account.
I hope this helped, Michelle, and We'll See You Real Soon!
~Kristen
