    Can we use magic bands from previous owners

    Hi Rougina!

    It sounds like you're getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! MagicBands are a fantastic addition because they give you access to your theme park tickets and Disney PhotoPass account with just the touch of your MagicBand. Plus, if you are staying in a Disney Resort hotel, then your MagicBand will allow you to open your hotel room door and make purchases throughout Walt Disney World Resort that will be charged to your room account.

    If you are interested in reusing your own MagicBands from a previous trip, you are welcome to do that as long as your MagicBands and all of your current plans are linked to your My Disney Experience account. Unfortunately, MagicBands are non-transferable, so you are unable to use MagicBands that have been previously used by other Guests. In that case, you would need to purchase new MagicBands for your vacation.

    Rougina, you've picked the perfect time to visit because the resort is in party mode for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration.
