Tom from IA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We have magic bands from a previous disney visit, and have linked our tickets for our upcoming visit. It shows the magic bands and the cards under each person, but do we need to link card and the magic band or will it link by person and work?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tom! A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to start the new year! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

As long as you have a valid theme park ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account, for each guest visiting with you, you can absolutely just use your MagicBands. You can also use your card, but you definitely won’t need both, so don’t worry! Again, just make sure you go into your account and link a theme park ticket for each guest.

Tom, don’t forget to make your FastPass+ selections before your visit. You can start making them 30-days ahead of your vacation. Guests who stay at Disney Resort hotels can make their selections 60-days before their visit.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with all the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
