I can see that the magic bands (not +) are linked to me and my children, but my children also have an admission card liked to their bands (I can see this from my Disney App), but for some reason my user only has the magic band and not an admission card?

    Hi Sarah, welcome to planDisney!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown fits on one hand, can you believe it?! You're either too excited to sleep or having magical dreams. Either way, you're going to The Most Magical Celebration on Earth!

Each Guest over the age of three requires valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) to enter a theme park. Each of these vacation entitlements is linked to an individual's My Disney Experience account or account profile. Once linked, a method of entry stays in your account and can be used for multiple trips.

I understand your children have MagicBands and admission cards linked to their My Disney Experience accounts or account profiles. If each is listed as "Active," they can be used interchangeably during your park days. My son wears his MagicBand intermittently so I especially like to have an alternate method of entry on hand for him.

As long as you have a MagicBand linked to your My Disney Experience account, Sarah, the presence of an additional admission card in no way affects your ability to enter a theme park. If you would like to obtain your own admission card, you can do so at any Walt Disney World park ticket window. Be prepared to show your ticket confirmation email, the payment method used to purchase the tickets, and a valid photo ID.

I actually ran into some tech trouble on my last trip because I had too many active MagicBands and admission cards linked to my account. If there are any MagicBands or admission cards in your account that you do not plan to use, you can deactivate them online before your trip.

As exciting as this time can be, Sarah, take a moment to appreciate the fact that all of your tremendous planning efforts are about to pay off. The moment your feet hit Main Street, U.S.A., and you lay eyes on your children laying eyes on Cinderella Castle, you will know what all the tech steps were for. You and your family are the magic!

Consider me on call for any last-minute questions; you've got a friend in planDisney.

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
