Hey, Sue! Thank you for returning to planDisney with another great question.
You must be in the final stage of packing for your spooktacular cruise! If you need any last-minute tricks (or treats) for your suitcase, the Disney Cruise Line website has a hauntingly
helpful packing list.
Since you plan to use a
DisneyBand+ to access your stateroom and pay for purchases, I see no reason to bring a lanyard. Just make sure your band is fully charged before heading to the port. You can also use a MagicBand+ from the theme parks. But unlike the parks, you can’t switch out your band each day, so make sure to bring your favorite one. When you check in at the port, a Disney representative will ensure your band is linked and ready to go.
If you’re sailing with little pirates, be sure to visit the
youth clubs during Open House hours after embarkation to meet the counselors and explore these interactive spaces together. Once secure programming starts, adults are kindly “booted out,” and the kids take command! To pick up your young sailors, authorized Guests will need to provide a secret word and scan their Key to the World card or DisneyBand+. Don’t be surprised if your crew is reluctant to leave—luckily, a quick trip for a soft-serve ice cream cone works like magic to turn any frown upside down!
Sue, I hope you have a fantastic
Halloween on the High Seas voyage! How could you not? You're guaranteed to come home with the best treat of all – priceless memories with your loved ones.
SEAS the adventure!
