We just got our magic bands in the mail! My 4 y/o seems excited about his band, but I have a feeling after a few hours at the parks, he won't want to wear it anymore. will this be a problem? could I just carry it with me if he decides not to wear it?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Those Walt Disney World MagicBands sure are fun!  When I see them in the mail, it just seems like MAGIC has been delivered right to me.  Well, I guess I can say that MAGIC has been delivered right to me because these small items carry so many beautiful memories that are just waiting to be made and are the keys to many MAGICAL events.

I certainly understand your concern.  For little ones, the MagicBands may not be too fun to wear after awhile.  You are more than welcome to carry your child's band.  Just make sure to keep it in a safe place, but easily accessible.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  If you are planning on renting a stroller, make sure to secure a bright ribbon or balloon to it so that you can spot it amongst a "sea" of strollers.

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to help spread some pixie dust to all our guests.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"
