    We have magic bands linked to our account from 2 years ago that were never used due to pandemic. Are they still valid?

     Welcome back to planDisney, Shannon. We're so happy to see you again! We just love helping you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacations.

     I am a big fan of MagicBands. With a MagicBand, I can open my Disney Resort hotel room, enter the theme parks, charge purchases to my room folio, and link my Disney PhotoPass photos. Not to mention, my MagicBand makes for a cute vacation accessory! What's not to love?

     The batteries in MagicBands reportedly last about 2 years, but I can tell you that on my last Disney vacation, I used MagicBands that were 3 and 4-years old. They worked just fine! Before your arrival next week, just be sure your MagicBands are listed as "active" on your My Disney Experience account.

     Your visit is the perfect time to experience The World's Most Magical Celebration. There's lots of new magic to discover in the theme parks including two brand-new nighttime spectaculars, Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonious at EPCOT. They're not to be missed!
