    I would like to get magic bands for the kiddos prior to our visit but am waiting for the new magic band+. Disney has been talking about them for a while. any chance they might actually start selling them soon?

    Thanks for stopping by to see us at plan Disney to ask us some awesome questions! MagicBands are an awesome addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's so nice when everyone in the family has access to their theme park tickets with just the touch of their MagicBand. That means that my husband and I don't have to worry about passing out tickets each time we need to use them. Plus, my little ones love picking out the perfect MagicBand to match their favorite Disney Character or attraction!

    I can't wait for MagicBand+ to debut at Walt Disney World Resort. Not only will they continue to provide access to your theme park tickets, Disney Resort hotel room and Disney PhotoPass account, but they will also unlock new features that you can use throughout the theme parks. It will be so much fun to become part of the magic, as MagicBand+ will allow you to interact with the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection, become a bounty hunter when you visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and become a part of the nighttime spectaculars throughout the resort!

    While we know that MagicBand+ will debut as part of the Walt Disney World Resort 50th Anniversary Celebration, we don't know the exact timeline of their debut. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning your trip for the latest news and announcements. You may want to consider waiting to buy MagicBands for your little ones until you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort so you have the best chances of using MagicBand+ during your trip. Sending pixie dust your way that hopefully, we will hear something about the debut of MagicBand+ in time for your vacation!
