My Magic Bands are from Jan 2014, they are active and I´m visiting again on feb 2017. I read that the batteries last for 2 years, so I´m not sure if they will work. In this case, would I have some kind of battery replacement available? Thanks!

Hi Patricia! It is great you are able to be planning your next Walt Disney World vacation this year. You will be so surprised to see so many new attractions and events taking place in all of the parks as well as Disney Springs.

Disney Magic Bands were introduced a few years ago and we were all told that their battery life would be approximately two years. I keep getting some new ones so I have not tried to see if the oldest bands myself still work. I suggest you bring them with you and when you get to the parks stop at Guest Relations and they will be able to check them for you. You do not get battery replacements but instead you would have to buy a new one. If you are a resort guest you will have the opportunity to get new Magic Bands for this trip at no cost. If you are not a Disney resort guest and you find that your old bands are not working you can purchase new ones at several locations in the parks and stores. You will even see some of the newest designs for the bands and might be tempted to purchase a new one in any case. I love my band with Pluto on it!
