    Do the magic bands for my family all come activated ( ready to use once I get to Disney) or do I have to do something to them?

    Hello, Barbara and welcome to planDisney where my fellow panelists and I love to BAND together to help guests create MAGICal vacations! 

    Now, Barbara, with the 50th anniversary celebrations kicking off on October 1st, you are in for an exciting vacation that will have you smiling from ear to EAR. Using a MagicBand on your trip will make getting into the theme parks, purchasing your favorite souvenirs and heading back to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel at the end of the night effortless! 

    Barbara, I'm happy to report that when your MagicBands arrive at your home they are ready for use without any extra steps. If you want to double check that your MagicBand is active in your account you can easily do so by logging into My Disney Experience. After you've logged in you'll hover over the bold "My Disney Experience" until you see "My MagicBands and Cards." When you click on that you'll be taken to a page that lists your active MagicBands.
