Magic bands at Disneyland how do you know when it is charged

Hey there, Sally! Thanks so much for dropping by planDisney with your question for us.

Making sure your MagicBand+ is fully charged and ready is an important step to being ready for your upcoming visit to Disneyland. If you have your MagicBand+ charging you will see that it may start off flashing red. This means there is no battery. Next, it may show flashing yellow and this indicates a low battery. The band will flash green when it has a high battery. You can also go into the Disneyland app and tap on your MagicBand+ to see the battery. It will tell you when it is fully charged. So far every time I have visited the parks, I've arrived with a fully charged MagicBand+ and it has lasted all day. If your charge does deplete, don't worry! You will still be able to use it to scan into the parks, tap into Lightning Lanes, and link your Disney PhotoPass photos.

On your visit be sure to keep your eyes out for special Disney100 medallions and statues that your MagicBand+ can interact with.

Sally, thanks again for taking the time to ask us your question. We'd love to answer any other questions you have!

I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
