Magic bands... Can different bands on the same room/reservation be programmed/linked to separate credit cards. For example me and my kids on one credit card and my parents on another credit card.

    Hi Jayna,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

We often travel with friends and family and stay in a Deluxe Villa Resort (we’re Disney Vacation Club members). Because of that, we often have several households staying in the same room, which means that everyone has a different credit card that they would like to use for their vacation purchases.

Based on my experience, I have some great news for you! A Guest’s MagicBand can be linked to the credit card of their choice, even if it’s not the same one that is associated with the vacation reservation. So, yes, your parents can have their MagicBands linked to one credit card, while your family’s MagicBands are linked to another.

In order to ensure that the MagicBands are linked properly, please mention your request to the Cast Member when you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It’s also a good idea to request a printout of your MagicBands’ respective transactions after your first day in order to double check that the transactions are being processed correctly.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
