    Are Magic Bands complimentary for guests staying at the Disney Swan Resort in November 2020?

    Hi Sonya,

    Thank you for stopping by with a great question!  Sounds like you are busy planning an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation including a stay at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.  I've been fortunate enough to stay there twice and have loved not only the proximity to EPCOT, but also loved their famous Westin Heavenly Beds and signature Westin White Tea scent.  In fact, I loved the scent so much I have purchased it to scent my own home!  My kids were especially fond of the luxurious pool area which even has little "caves" giving it a lush tropical paradise feeling.

    Magic Bands are not a part of the Walt Disney World Swan or Walt Disney World Dolphin offerings, as these Resort hotels are owned by another corporation, even though they reside on Walt Disney World property.  You are welcome to purchase Magic Bands on your own if you like the ease of being able to "tap" your way into theme parks or connect your Disney's PhotoPass Service photos with the touch of a Magic Band.  However Magic Bands are not required in order to enter theme parks or use Disney's PhotoPass Service!  The choice of how you experience the Magic is all up to you!
