I have magic bands I bought for Disney world that we never used but now we are going to Disneyland how can I link them?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Sarah. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner and I'm thrilled to help.

MagicBand+ is the only type of band that is currently supported at the Disneyland Resort. If this is the type of band that you have, then you are in luck. You can absolutely use your MagicBand+ from Walt Disney World Resort in California at the Disneyland Resort. Set-up is a breeze in the Disneyland app. Make sure your MagicBand+ is charged, then power it on by pressing the button on the back once and then tap the band to your phone. You will be directed to the Disneyland app where you will follow all instructions to complete setting up your band.

I love using my MagicBand+ at the Disneyland Resort to tap into the theme parks for entrance. It's also fun to see them come alive and interact with select attractions. Pixar Fest is also in full swing and it's fun to see your MagicBand+ interact with Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular at Disneyland Park. I also love using my MagicBand+ to interact with the Pixar Fest Icon Sculpture in Disney California Adventure Park. It's fun to try and guess which beloved Pixar character you will hear from first.

Sarah, I hope this is helpful and that you indeed have the MagicBand+ model that can be used at the Disneyland Resort. Here's wishing you a magical adventure at the Happiest Place on Earth!
