Jessika, undamaged MagicBands that are still in working condition will remain active as long as it is listed as “active” in the
“My MagicBands and Cards” section of your My Disney Experience account. Please
click here to verify that your MagicBand is listed as active. If it is listed as “inactive” please click “activate” under the MagicBand of your choice. It’s that simple, Jessika!
However, it is possible that the battery in your MagicBand has ceased to work. You will still be able to use it at the Walt Disney World Resort theme park entry points, for completing purchases, and for connecting
Disney PhotoPass photos to your My Disney Experience account. If the battery in your MagicBand is not working, you may not receive attraction ride photos or other personalized surprises throughout Walt Disney World Resort. If these are of importance to you, I suggest using a newer MagicBand.
Jessika, as a reminder, all Guests ages 3 and older need both a valid Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket and
Disney Park Pass theme park reservation to enter the theme parks.
