Hello! Are the Magic Bands activated and ready to go to the parks when we arrive, or must we stop by our hotel first before the magic and adventure in the parks? Thank you so much for your time!

    Hello Kerry!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

Once you receive your MagicBands they are active and ready to use! When you arrive at Walt Disney World you can check into your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or hit the parks straight away. If you check into your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel online ahead of your trip, there is an option for the hotel to text you your room number so you don’t have to go to the front desk as well. When you receive that text, your MagicBand will automatically work for your room.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
