    How do you get Magic Bands?

    Hi, Sarah! 

    Thanks so much for your question! We're excited to assist you in planning your upcoming Disney vacation!

    Magic Bands come complimentary when you stay at any of the Walt Disney World resorts. Once you book your vacation, either direct booking through your My Disney Experience account or with the help of a travel agent, you will have the opportunity to choose from a set of solid colored Magic Bands that you can customize with your family member's name. These will be shipped to your home about 30 days before your scheduled arrival. 

    If you prefer to have a specialty Magic Band, you can purchase one through the Shop Disney app or Disney Store website. Here, you can choose from so many of your favorite characters and themes. My most favorite Magic Band is my Minnie Mouse Magic Band! These can also be shipped to your home upon purchase. 

    Last, while you on vacation at Walt Disney World, you can buy Magic Bands at any of the four theme parks. Just know that any Magic Band that you purchase must be linked to your My Disney Experience account. Just log into your account, click on Magic Bands and Cards, and enter the special number on the back of the Magic Band!
