    If I have a magic band does it work at both Disney World and Disneyland?

    Thanks for stopping by and welcome to planDisney! 

    If you have a MagicBand+ it may be used at both Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. MagicBand and MagicBand 2.0 are not compatible at the Disneyland Resort. 

    Don’t forget, at the Disneyland Resort, you must assign which ticket will use each MagicBand+. Once linked, you may use MagicBand+ at the theme park's main entrances, at lightning lane entrances and to link photos to your Disneyland Account with a Disney PhotoPass Photographer.  

    At Walt Disney World, MagicBand+ can also be used to open your resort room door and pay for food and merchandise at participating locations.
