    I have a magic band that I used in January. How do I link my current October ticket to the band?

    As my friend Princess Tiana would say, you're Almost There. . .almost to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation that is!  Now is the perfect time to get all of those final Donald Ducks in a row so you are ready to enjoy a magical visit!

    MagicBands are certainly a helpful Mouseketool to have in the parks.  From tapping in at theme park entrances to accessing Lightning Lane passes, those little bands are mighty powerful!  Plus, they make a great fashion accessory, too.  I don't know about you, but I have several that I've collected, and I like to change which one I'm using based on the park I'm visiting or the outfit I'm wearing!

    Kerry, MagicBands are actually linked to you in your My Disney Experience account.  If you're on the My Disney Experience Mobile App, simply tap the three lines in the bottom right corner and then scroll down to "MagicBands & Cards" under "Account" to confirm that it is linked to your account.  You can then click on "My Tickets & Passes" to confirm that your tickets are linked to you as well.  If both are showing in your account, you are good to go when you arrive at the parks!  Don't see your tickets?  Hakuna Matata!  You can easily link your tickets by clicking the plus sign in the top right once you have opened "My Tickets & Passes."  If you're running into any issues as you are trying to link your tickets, you can always call Existing Tickets or speak with a Cast Member when you arrive. 

    Here's another fun tip!  Did you know you can skip the front desk and get your vacation started right away when you complete Online Check-In?  This is one of my favorite ways to save time on our arrival day when we stay at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection.  Simply provide a few details online or in the app before arriving, and then you can use Direct-to-Room Service once on property!  I like to provide my cell number during Online Check-In so that I receive a text message when our room is ready.  Once you are ready to head to your room, you can use your MagicBand or the Unlock Door feature in the app to enter your room!
