    Can I still use the Magic Band I used when they first started this feature about 3 yrs. ago or do I have to get a new one?

    I'm happy to answer another question for you! MagicBands are equipped with a small battery, designed to last about two years. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the battery nor is there a way for you to check if your MagicBand is still operating correctly. Since you have had it for a few years, I suggest you ask a Cast Member to check your MagicBand when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Keep in mind that Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel receive a complementary solid-color MagicBand with each visit. 

    If you would like to purchase a theme park exclusive MagicBand before your stay, then take a look at offerings using the Shop Disney Parks mobile app. Not only can you have your items delivered to your home, but you can also use this app while in Resort to locate items from hundreds of merchandise locations. You can also have your purchases delivered to your Disney Resort hotel or sent to a pick-up location at the theme park entrance. This app is fantastic!
