Hi, can I take and use my magic band + that I used in Disney world on my trip to Disneyland

    Welcome to planDisney, Stephen!

Thanks for asking your great question. As someone who has visited both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort over the past year, I was eager to know if my MagicBand+ (or as it's called in the UK, Disney Band) would be compatible at both destinations. And I'm pleased to say the answer is, yes!

This is great news because the previous versions of MagicBand only work at Walt Disney World Resort. There are four people in my family and we each have our own MagicBand+. We love them! MagicBand+ enables us to conveniently enter the theme parks, check in at Lightning Lane entrances, pay for things, open our Disney Resort hotel room, and experience really cool features, like haptic vibrations and colorful lights during nighttime spectaculars. In fact, you can even use your MagicBand+ to seek virtual bounties throughout Black Spire Outpost by playing Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters!

I hope that's helpful, Stephen. Thanks so much for visiting planDisney and letting me help plan your great, big, beautiful tomorrow. Have a great trip!
