I currently use my favorite
MagicBand that I purchased in 2017 and it is still going strong! I plan on using this MagicBand for as long as I am able to. I did reach out to a wonderful cast member to get an official response and the answer I received stated as long as your MagicBand is active in
My Disney Experience, you should have no issues. That being said, things could change prior to 2025 so you may want to check back with us as your arrival date nears to be sure the answer remains the same.
As a backup plan, I would also like to point out that if you use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you can access MagicBand features such as
Disney MagicMobile Service for theme park entry and the
Unlock Door feature to access your resort hotel room.
