If I use my Magic Band throughout my trip, and then use my Disney VISA to pay it off, will I still earn points or do the points have to be earned at POS?

    Hi Diane!

I just love my Disney Rewards Visa and earning Disney Reward Dollars that I can use on my Walt Disney World vacations.  Have you seen the new card designs that were just released?  I can't decide between the Magic Kingdom one with the park icons and the cute monorail on the back or the Maleficent one.  It's a tough decision!

Using MagicBands for purchases at Walt Disney World is so convenient.  No need to pull your wallet out each time you would like to buy a souvenir or a drink.  MagicBands also make it easy to unlock your Disney Resort hotel room and enter the theme parks.  When you use your Disney Rewards Visa to pay off your room balance, you are absolutely earning those Disney Rewards Dollars.  How awesome is that?

There are lots of perks that are exclusive to Disney Rewards Visa cardholders.  If you're in EPCOT, be sure to stop by the Disney Character Experience for a complimentary photo with a couple of your favorite Disney pals.  We got to see Minnie and Pluto together the last time we stopped by and there is usually just a short wait.

Your card can also give you discounts on dining, merchandise and select recreational experiences.  It doesn't hurt to ask before making a purchase if the Disney Visa discount applies.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
