I can see my magic band is shared to my daughter but how can she manage my band for genie+ and dining?

Hey there, Cindy, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

Your Walt Disney World Vacation will be here in a few short days, and I’m sure that you are already dreaming of your resort visit by now! Judging by your question, it looks like you have already found Disney’s Family & Friends list in the My Disney Experience Account. The Family & Friends list is the perfect tool to plan vacation details for large vacation parties or across multiple My Disney Experience Guest accounts. Once Guests have linked their accounts, they can make dining reservations, Genie + Lightning Lane reservations, mobile order food, and more for their entire party. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then linking accounts with your daughter in Family & Friends is your first step.

Now, let’s briefly talk about navigating Disney’s Genie+ Service. Disney’s Genie+ Service is available for daily purchase on each morning of your Theme Park visits in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Since you and your daughter will be linked together, she will be able to complete the purchase for both of you. After the purchase is complete, your first Lightning Lane entrance can be reserved at 7 a.m. EST. So I suggest completing your purchase of the service by 6:30 a.m. EST to ensure that everything processes properly. It may seem like a lot of information, but if you have any more questions or things I need to clarify, stop back by and let me know! I’m more than happy to help!

You’ve got a friend in me,
