    Hi. When will the magic band+ be released.

    Hi Laura!

    MagicBands are an awesome addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation because they make it so easy to access your theme park tickets, Lightning Lane Reservations and Disney PhotoPass account. Plus, if you are staying in one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, your MagicBand will allow you to access your hotel room and make purchases to be charged to your room account. 

    MagicBand+ will be an amazing upgrade to this technology because it will allow Guests to interact with the theme parks in new and exciting ways! While we know that MagicBand+ will debut as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, we don't have information about a specific timeline for Guests to be able to purchase them. So I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and announcements and hopefully, we will hear about the debut of MagicBands+ in time for your trip!

    I love how the Disney Imagineers are always bringing new things to Walt Disney World Resort for Guests to enjoy and MagicBand+ is just one of the new things they are working on! With new attractions, entertainment experiences and dining options headed to the theme parks, Disney Resorts Collection hotels and Disney Springs, there's so much to look forward to enjoying during your next trip.
