Can I use the magic band to make purchases in the park/dining and then use gift cards to pay off the charge so it doesn't go onto the credit card on file

    Hi Patricia!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I think you will love using a MagicBand during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It is so convenient to have access to your theme park tickets, FastPass+ reservations, Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, room charging privileges and Memory Maker account all with a touch of your wrist! You can certainly use your Disney Gift Card to pay for your charges, you will just need to make a stop at your Walt Disney World Resort front desk to pay for your charges using your gift cards before your card is charged, which in my experience is overnight of the last night of your reservation. So I recommend that you stop in to use your Disney Gift Card to pay for your charges during the day before the last night of your vacation. Then you can use your Disney Gift Card directly to pay for any final purchases made on the last day of your vacation.

For long trips, I tend to pay off my balance every few days just to keep on top of things. This is a great way to keep track of your total spending during your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
