Hi there, Leanne! Welcome to planDisney!
Your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner! I'm sure the countdown has begun and you're making your list (of must-do activities) and checking it twice! Visiting the
Disneyland Resort during the Holiday Season does give you an extra element of magic! One of my favorite stops during this time of year is Cars Land! The holiday spirit is very much alive in this part of the park, from the jolly decorations to the ride overlays. Hop on
Mater's Jingle Jamboree or
Luigi's Joy to the Whirl to experience the holiday twist added to these beloved attractions!
More great news coming your way, Leanne! If you have a
MagicBand+ in your possession from a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, it will work at the Disneyland Resort, too! Ka-Chow! Previous MagicBand models will not work at the Disneyland Resort, so just be sure that the one you bring along is the MagicBand+ and you'll be good to go.
If you're running into trouble syncing your MagicBand+ to the
Disneyland Mobile App, there are a few things you can try before calling for backup. First, go through the steps of the
MagicBand+ setup from start to finish as if you've never linked it before. If this doesn't work, you can try turning your MagicBand+ off, then back on to see if this kickstarts the process. There is also a very helpful
MagicBand+ support page on the Walt Disney World Website that helps Guests troubleshoot and best utilize their new device. Though it is geared toward the Walt Disney World Resort, it still may help you identify the problem and get your band working! If you're still unable to connect the band, you may consider
reaching out to a Disneyland Resort Cast Member for assistance.
Leanne, I'll keep my ears crossed that you're able to get your MagicBand+ back in action soon! Feel free to stop back by with any additional questions.
Have a magical day,
Ashley
