MagicBand+ pairing with Smart Phone; Minnie Mouse band

    Can I have 2 magic band plus linked to me so that a two year old could use one for the firework interactions? Her big brother (4) and her are coming for first visit as early birthday present for big brother to see the MAGIC of Disney at Christmas!

    Thanks for visiting planDisney today with a great question about MagicBands! MagicBands are a great way to experience more magic at Walt Disney World Resort. They simplify so much of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation from using it to unlock a Disney Resort Room, scan in at Lightning Lane entrances, enter the theme parks, easily make purchases, link PhotoPass photos and more! 

    I love the various patterns and colors of MagicBands that are available for purchase, it is fun to have a MagicBand match an outfit or a mood for the day! Over the years, I’ve collected a few different MagicBands and usually have more than one with me when traveling to Walt Disney World Resort. The MagicBand+ lets Guests experience even more magic  than before - they light up to nighttime spectaculars and more and they even vibrate as well! 

    The MagicBand+ is a bit different in that you need to pair to a device by bluetooth. While I can connect two MagicBand+ to my phone, I have not personally had any luck connecting both at the same time so the light-up features and haptics work (the RFID still works for tapping without needing to be paired). 

    I hope you have the most magical time at Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season. There are so many wonderful activities to enjoy both in theme parks and around the resort. My kids love visiting the resorts and seeing the decorations that are unique to each resort’s theming. Be sure to check out the gingerbread displays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Beach Club, Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge - we always pick up a treat to bring home!
