I am delighted to share that your
MagicBand+ (AKA
DisneyBand+) can indeed join you on select Disney Cruise Line adventures. On my most recent voyage aboard the
Disney Treasure, my husband and I linked our MagicBand+ bands to our stateroom, and it felt positively magical. With just a tap of the wrist, we opened our stateroom door, treated ourselves to lattes at Cove Café, and even picked up souvenirs at
Mickey’s Mainsail. It was so convenient, and it added an extra sprinkle of Disney magic to our sailing!
To get started, you can check your sailing’s eligibility on the
Disney Cruise Line website. Once you arrive at the port, simply provide your MagicBand+ to a friendly Cast Member at check-in, and they will link it right to your stateroom account. Just be sure to tuck it into your cruise carry-on so it’s ready when you need it.
And here’s a little tip from one cruiser to another: pack your swimsuit in that same carry-on bag! That way, you can slip into the pool or zip down the slides and start your vacation fun before the ship even sets sail.
