Don't you just love all of the new MagicBand and MagicBand+ designs that are out now? I have recently been looking at
shopDisney and wondering if I need yet another one to add to my collection. Rest assured, if you have purchased a MagicBand or MagicBand+ that says "Passholder" on it you may still use it as you normally would even if you are not a current Annual Passholder. Once you have linked your MagicBand or MagicBand+ to your
My Disney Experience Account, it will "automagically" link you to all of your entitlements in your account. If you have theme park tickets linked in your My Disney Experience account and
Disney Theme Park Reservations, you will be able to scan into the theme park as usual. However, you should use the regular entrances and not the Annual Passholder entrances in case you were wondering.
The same is true when you are using
Disney PhotoPass Service and use your MagicBand or MagicBand+ to link your photos to your account. Just scan your device as you normally would, and your photos will appear in your My Disney Experience account. You can also use your MagicBand or MagicBand+ for entering any eligible Lightning Lane entrances.
