? about the Magic band. I got one 2 years ago when I went to WDW with my son & his family. It was connected with his Disney account. I am going back in May with another son and his family. Can I connect the same band now to 2nd sons account?

    Hi Kaylene,

How fun to answer a Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question for a fellow Kaylene! It's not too often that I have the opportunity to "meet" someone with the same, unique name.

Unfortunately, once a MagicBand or card is linked to one Disney account, it cannot be transferred to another person. Additionally, the batteries in Disney's MagicBand's were designed to last approximately 1 - 2 years, so in all likelihood, the batteries in the band which you previously purchased will be expired when you arrive. If you are not staying onsite in a Disney Resort, you will want to purchase a new MagicBand for your son.

    Wishing you magical memories,
