MagicBands. They are one of my favourite ways to keep everything organized (and a little more magical!) during a Disney vacation. With just a quick tap of your wrist, you can unlock your Disney Resort hotel room, enter the theme parks, link your
Disney PhotoPass photos, and even pay for meals and souvenirs. My family loves how easy it makes everything - no digging through bags for cards or phones when you’re ready to join the fun!
Since your MagicBand 2 is still showing as linked in the My Disney Experience app, you shouldn’t have any trouble using it in the parks or as your Disney Resort hotel room key. My family brought our MagicBand 2s from 2019 on our trip this summer, and we had no issues using them at all. They worked perfectly to unlock our resort room door, scan into the parks, and link our Disney PhotoPass photos.
If you’d like a little extra peace of mind, you can also set up a
Disney MagicMobile pass in the My Disney Experience app. Just look for "Set Up MagicMobile Entry" in the menu and follow the simple steps. This feature lets you use your phone or Apple Watch for park entry, and you can even pick from a variety of fun digital designs - because who doesn’t love a little extra Disney flair?
