MagicBands are such a fun way to add a little extra magic to your Walt Disney World vacation! They are the most convenient way to enter the theme parks, enter
Lightning Lane attraction queues, make purchases for merchandise and
Disney dining and open your
Disney Resort hotel room door. There is no need to dig around in your bag or pockets for various cards to do all of these things. I love it!
Any type of MagicBand that you have will work at Walt Disney World, as long as there is still battery life. The newest version,
MagicBand+, has extra capabilities like lighting up and buzzing around the theme parks with the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection and during select nighttime spectacular shows. You can also use it to play Batuu Hunters in
Galaxy's Edge at
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
MagicBands and MagicBand+ are available for purchase in many gift shops around the theme parks and the Disney Resort hotels or you can pre-purchase them at a discount if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel. To customize a pre-arrival MagicBand or MagicBand+, head to your
My Disney Experience account online and click on "
My MagicBands and Cards". You should be prompted at the top to make selections for your upcoming trip.
