I have many magic band do they all link up with my resort

    Hi David,

Welcome to planDisney! I really appreciate your question because -- confession -- I have a lot of MagicBands, too, and I am hesitant to part with any of them. So I have checked into this on my own behalf.

The short answer is yes, in theory, you can link an unlimited number of MagicBands, including the older style bands and the newer, interactive MagicBand+ models, to your My Disney Experience account. However, a Guest Services cast member once told me that having too many active MagicBands at once can cause connectivity issues. Just to be safe, I now keep only a few active at a time. You can always reactivate any that you want to put back into the rotation.

Here's how you check to see how many MagicBands are attached to your account and manage them

Go to the MagicBands section of My Disney Experience profile. Next to your profile picture, you will see the number of MagicBands and cards that are linked to your account. As you scroll down, you'll see a picture and the serial number of each band. For each, you have the option to activate, deactivate or report it lost.

Any active MagicBand will perform all the functions we've come to depend on with a tap of our wrist: theme park admission, charging purchases to your room, unlocking your resort room door, accessing a Lightning Lane pass and more. The MagicBand+ also has features that interact with certain games, shows and other magical moments. (MagicBand+ models work on select Disney Cruise Line ships as well.)

Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, David. Please let us know if you have any other questions as your next Walt Disney World vacation nears.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
