Welcome to planDisney. A Magic Band+ is one of my favorite things to have when visiting the parks. I love how I can open my hotel door, enter the parks, purchase merchandise, and enjoy the fun interactions throughout the park. I chatted with a cast member at guest services about your trouble connecting your band to your
My Disney Experience account, and they said it is now showing as already claimed. The cast member said there could be a few technical issues with your account and that the best way to resolve them would be to contact guest services for assistance. Since you are in Great Britain, you can find the best phone number here on the
Help Center page. I have always had great experiences with guest services, which have helped me with any issues that may arise, and I know you will too.
Before we part ways, I would love to share a quick, little-known feature of the Magic Band + that you can do once they get you all fixed up. You can customize many of the effects and colors of your band using the My Disney Experience app. You can do this by tapping on the 3 bars (≡) at the bottom right-hand corner. Scroll down to MagicBands & Cards and choose the person associated with the band. Here, you can change the Light Up Theme for when you interact with park attractions. You can also adjust the brightness, vibrations, and other interactive features. It’s a neat way to make your experience even more magical.
