I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues connecting your MagicBand+. Technology is always great until it does not work like it should! It sounds like you have already gone through a few troubleshooting options, let's get this wagon train a-movin' and review one other and then consider your other options.
The one recommendation I have for you if you have not already has to do with your
My Disney Experience app. This app recently went through a huge update and although it should update automatically, sometimes there are times when evil Dr. PorkChop unleashes his monkeys to interfere with normal operations. What I would try if you have not already, is to uninstall and then reinstall your My Disney Experience app. This has worked for me on several prior occasions to get past these stumbling blocks.
If you are still having issues after the reinstall, I would
call Disney. Typically Disney Cast Members can access Slink the forcefield dog to put around your account after they get the monkeys out to fix your issue and prevent further issues.
If you do experience continued issues with your MagicBand+ while on your vacation, typically the Cast Members onsite can troubleshoot your MagicBand as well. They may have other tricks up their sleeves such as Rex the fierce dinosaur to get things in order. Either way, the Cast Members have access to tools we do not and are usually able to take care of technical issues quickly.
