Hi! Our magic band collection is starting to pile up! We now have several active bands each since we get new ones every time we visit WDW. Can we use multiple bands in one trip if they are all set to Active? Interchange them daily? Thanks!

    Hi Gina,

I'm in the same boat! Everyone in my family has a huge collection of MagicBands, in all colors and in the original and new styles. They absolutely are interchangeable as long as they are all active. Because we live relatively close and often make impromptu visits, I keep a set of MagicBands in my car, in the tote bag I usually take to the parks and sometimes even in the bag I carry to work every day.

I love to mix up the colors, based on my outfit or my mood.

If you find you have more MagicBands than you can manage, you can always mark some of them as inactive in your My Disney Experience account. Just be sure you place those in a separate place at home so you don't pick up an inactive one by accident. You also can return them to Walt Disney World for recycling. Simply give them to a cast member at the front desk of your resort on your next visit.

You also can decline new MagicBands for your next trip if you choose. You will find the button to decline MagicBands in the area of My Disney Experience where you normally customize them. I had started declining new MagicBands, then the design changed, and I'm back to collecting again!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gina. Please let us know if you have any other questions relating to frequent visits, planning or special offers for Florida residents like you and me. We're always here to help!

    Enjoy,
