MagicBand+ is one of my favorite perks of staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. It's so easy to just tap your wrist to pay for your food and souvenirs that I wish I could do it when I come home from vacation!
Typically, any charges that you made with your MagicBand will post to your method of payment very early on the morning that you check out. You get an e-mail when your charges are posted and I just double-checked mine from my last few visits and it came around 2:00 a.m. on the day I left. So, when you go to bed on your last night at your Resort Hotel, your method of payment will be charged that night. This is subject to change at any time, so double-check with the Front Desk when you check in for the most up-to-date information.
There are a few things to remember about your stored payment method when you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. When you check in, they will
place a hold on your card for $100, and at any time, the hold may increase but will not exceed your total balance due plus $100. Once you check out and your payment has been settled, the holds will be removed from your card and not processed. Finally, if you're staying longer than five nights, the balance on your room folio will automatically charge to your saved method of payment every fifth day of your stay and then the final time after checkout.
