Your question makes my heart happy because I also have a Star Wars loving son! On a recent visit to
Walt Disney World Resort, my Padawan loved using his Star Wars themed
MagicBand. It was most appreciated when we were at
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Once you have the new MagicBand, you can simply link it to his profile in your
My Disney Experience account. The process is very easy to do! Simply Sign In to your My Disney Experience account. Click on "My MagicBands and Cards" and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Link." Then, select "MagicBand," enter the ID Number on the back of the MagicBand and then click "Next."
The system will walk you through each step. If you have any challenges linking your MagicBand, you can also complete the process when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Cast Members in Guest Services or the MagicBand merchandise locations will be more than happy to assist you.
There is no need for a data transfer. His MagicBands will both be linked to his profile and will all have the same access and information associated with them. It's fabulous!
