can I get a magic band for my baby who is under 3? Does it cause a problem to do so as a collector item for our trip?

    Hi Tracey!

I love collecting MagicBands from all of our stays at Walt Disney World.  I customize the name on the back of them to reference something about the trip or our names and the date.  It's tough to be creative with the little amount of characters allowed, but it always works out.

Since all guests in your party need to be listed on your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, including the baby, every guest will receive a complimentary MagicBand, including the baby.  Even though they are under 3 and won't need it for park admission or accessing the FastPass+ queues, they can certainly still have one for a fun Walt Disney World souvenir.

Also be sure to include the baby in your guest count when making dining reservations as well.

If you need a quiet place to relax, change or feed your little one, check out the Baby Care Centers that are located at each of the four theme parks.  These centers offer high chairs, microwaves, nursing rooms and a nice place to chill for families with babies and toddlers.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
