This is the best time to stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, where you are fully immersed in all the magic during your entire vacation. Complimentary MagicBands are no longer offered, however, Guests can purchase pre-arrival
MagicBands at a discounted price. Most of the MagicBands currently offered as of this minute, are Pre-Arrival Exclusives, meaning you will not find them online at
shopDisney or available at select retail locations within the Walt Disney World Resort. The current inventory is constantly changing because some MagicBands are Limited Edition and only available in certain quantities, others are extremely popular and sell out quickly. You can customize a MagicBand to suit each member of your travel party. Once your order is submitted, it cannot be changed or modified. If someone in your party declines to select a MagicBand, they cannot order one at the discounted pre-arrival price at a later date.
Your MagicBands will be automagically linked to your My Disney Experience accounts and ready for use. When you arrive, you can use them to unlock the door to your hotel room, charge food and merchandise back to your room account. You can also access your theme park admission and redeem your Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane experiences. My personal favorite is the ability to add photos to a
Memory Maker account that have been captured by Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers because I love being able to share my photos with my family and friends.
You are permitted to have more than one active MagicBand on your account, so if you see one that you like online at shopDisney.com, you can order one that suits your personality. These MagicBands are unable to be customized and must be linked to your My Disney Experience account before use. You can also purchase MagicBands when you arrive at your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel shops, retail locations in all Disney Theme Parks, and select retail locations in Disney Springs. My favorite is
Disney Pin Traders, they have a massive selection. You can find MagicBands in solid colors as well as those depicting your favorite Disney Characters.
