Is there a magazine or a pamphet something hands on so I could plan our first family trip. Also I saw that the ticked are ages ten and up where would i find tickets for children who are less than ten and how much would the tickets be?

    Hi, there!

Jill, I am just thrilled to hear you're beginning to plan your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. It's my pleasure to help you plan a magical stay!

While magazines and pamphlets aren't resources currently provided by the Walt Disney World Resort, I can tell you that there are an abundance of planning tools at your fingertips both at DisneyWorld.com and here at planDisney. Let's chat about where to start!

I recommend beginning your planning process by exploring Resort Packages. Spend some time checking out all the incredible Disney Resort hotels featured on the Walt Disney World Resort website. With over 25 different Disney Resort hotels to choose from, you're bound to find the perfect fit for your family's unique needs, interests, and budget! My family of five especially loves Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which offers comfortable and affordable 5th Sleeper rooms.

You'll also want to take a look at the Ticket & Visit Guide to help you decide what type of ticket package your family will need. To view the price of a children's ticket, select the ticket type you're interested in purchasing, and then you'll see where you can select the number of tickets you'll need along with prices for Ages 10+ and Ages 3-9.

One of my favorite planning tools on the Walt Disney World Resort website is the vacation comparison chart. Once you've added a vacation package to your online cart, you can add up to two additional packages so you can compare them side by side. How convenient is that?

Additionally, you'll find dedicated pages for each of the four theme parks and an interactive map on the Walt Disney World Resort website. I've found these resources to be especially helpful while planning my family's daily itineraries!

Here at planDisney, we have a Video Library with short videos filled with helpful tips from our very own Panelists! Traveling with little ones in tow? We have several videos about that topic, like "Tips for Families with Preschoolers."

I also suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog during your planning process. It's your best resource for news and updates about Disney Parks and destinations!

I hope this was helpful, Jill. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
