Hi. I made weekday reservations for 8/18 & 9/12, but I might need to cancel. I saw on the website that I can cancel & make new reservations at the current price for a different day. Can I make the switch to a weekend reservations?

    Hi Angela, welcome to planDisney!

You have a great question, and I'm happy to help!

The Disneyland Resort uses a ticketing tier system for standard one-day theme park tickets. This means the price of the ticket will vary depending on the theme park reservation date that you select. Tickets currently range from Tier 1 to Tier 6. Tier 1 has the most restrictions in terms of eligible reservation dates and Tier 6 has the least number of restrictions. The ticket that you purchase will be valid for admission on the date you selected and on dates in the same or lower tier. Peak demand days, like holidays and weekends, are typically higher tier days.

So as you purchased weekday tickets, if you wanted to change your theme park reservations to a weekend visit, you would need to upgrade your tickets to a higher tier. I see that you're located in California, so an easy way to accomplish this is by visiting the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booths! The amazing Cast Members can certainly help you out! If it's difficult for you to visit the parks, another option is to try calling the Disneyland Resort Ticket Line at 714-781-4636.

And I have more news! The Main Street Electrical Parade and Disneyland Forever fireworks will be ending their limited-time runs on September 1, 2022, so be sure to visit the Disneyland Resort before then!

    See ya real soon!
