Hey Howdy Hey Sean and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for stopping by with your question about rebooking your trip. While both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort are both Disney parks in the United States, they do operate on separate accounts. You would first have to cancel your Disneyland trip and then book Disney World. This should be no problem depending on the date of arrival for your holiday. Let's review the details and then get you booked for your new holiday.
The first thing you would have to do with your trip to Disneyland would be to cancel this reservation. You can do this through your My Disneyland account online by logging in and looking for your reservation. Close to your reservation, you should also see an option to "Modify/Cancel Reservation" hyperlink which you will click on and follow the prompts to cancel. The thing to keep in mind is the
terms and conditions for booking vacation packages at Disneyland. When you cancel a reservation, as long as you do so before 30 days from your date of arrival, you should be able to get a full refund of your trip. Canceling between 2 and 29 days will incur a cancelation fee and anything less than 2 days will forfeit the entire amount paid. If you wanted to, you could also
give Disney a ring and a Cast Member will be able to handle this process for you. You should have also received an email with the details of your reservation with a phone number there as well you can call.
After you have your initial reservation canceled, you can then go to the
Walt Disney World Resort home page to begin planning your holiday. Feel free to take care of this yourself or feel free to contact your travel agent to do so as well. Make sure you check out the
Deals section of the site as well for special offers on vacation packages for our friends across the pond! You can also access
free planning tools to help plan your Magical holiday as well.
I hope you can get your holiday smoothly booked for Walt Disney World as we cannot wait to welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth real soon! Please feel free to stop back with any further questions, we are always happy to help.
Have a Magical day,
Nick
