Hello, I have made several dining reservations for 8 adults and an infant, and it just donned on me that we need to pay separately. All of these are the finer dining options, including character dining. I can't seem to find any info in the FAQs.

    Hi Kari,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. If I understand your question correctly, you want to know if you can ask for separate checks at the Walt Disney World restaurants.

That shouldn't be a problem. On a recent visit with a number of my Moms Panel friends, we asked for separate checks at several meals, including at 'Ohana, Kona Cafe, California Grill, Trail's End, Whispering Canyon Cafe and others. On a couple of occasions, there were more than 20 of us and the servers graciously and valiantly did their best to split the checks into ones and twos and keep everything straight.

For your ease -- and the convenience of the cast member who serves you -- just make sure you let him or her know you will need separate checks when you are seated. That's also a good time to let the server know if you have a dining plan or any other discount plans and if anyone in your group has any allergies or dietary restrictions.

I hope that answers your question. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help. It sounds as if you have a fantastic visit planned. Enjoy!
